Greene County Medical Center CEO Tracy Warner announced Aug. 4 the hiring of Susan Moore as chief nursing officer (CNO) at Greene County Medical Center. Moore will start working at the medical center Sept. 8.
Moore is joining Greene County Medical Center from Olathe Healthy Physicians in Olathe, KS, where she served as director of clinical quality since November 2019. At Olathe Health Physicians, her responsibilities included physician quality and patient satisfaction, as well as oversight for advanced practice providers in primary care, specialty care and rural healthcare settings. Prior to her position at Olathe Health Physicians, Moore served as CNO for 17 years at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa, KS.
In Moore’s previous CNO position she worked with clinical services, provision of care with evidence-based standards, corporate compliance, chaplain services, home health, and health management. She also worked with a $9 million expansion and renovation projects.

Susan brings with her 25 years of senior level health care administration and a strong nursing background with previous experience as a CNO. Her career includes work on improving operations through system redesign, integration, and financial management which will be very beneficial to Greene County Medical Center.”
Moore has a master of science in nursing from Saint Louis University and a master of public health, administration and health planning from the University of Tennessee. She received her bachelor of science in nursing from Western Carolina University.
Moore is married with four grown children and three grandchildren.
